A first EUREF Permanent Network Station in the Republic of Moldova Starting from the beginning of GPS week 1439 (05/08/2007), a new permanent reference GNSS station is included in the EUREF Permanent Network. It concerns the station IGEO (Chisinau) in Moldavia, which is operated by the Institute of Geodesy, Engineering Research and Cadastre (INGEOCAD) together with the Land Relation and Cadastre Agency (LRCA) and Bundesamt für Kartographie und Geodäsie (BKG) providing equipment and technical assistance. The monument height from the roof to the top of the brass threaded bolt is 1.9 m. Concrete pillar is fastened on the INGEOCAD building roof with reinforcement bars assembly.
